  • Hi, Paul! Looks like I've been falling behind on my organizer's duties, as I see you joined the HSPC group in February yet I haven't sent you a greeting! Please excuse my thoughtlessness. Welcome to the group! I hope you can join us for one of our upcoming meetings. I'll be posting more events soon, so please stay posted. (By the way, as an HSP, I can wholeheartedly relate to what you say about your reaction to music, light, etc. Music affects me in a way no other medium can!)

  • I told my wife this morning "I am upstairs cleaning" and I cleaned 3 cd players 2 TT needles, several records as I was playing em, and I may have even cleaned the insides of an amp. She just saw that after hearing music all morning, and she screamed and stormed out of the room ... man I never understand her.

  • Anyone going to that auction ? Looks like he was the "stereo repairman" who took people's stuff to "repair" and well ... that was that.
And of course things have to be stacked on top of the turntables for best use of both the TT and what you've dropped on top.

  • Thanks ... Let me know if you get the Berning Preamp. Berning designs "stuff" outside the normal.

  • I wonder if the positive reviews for the Dogg speakers are the guys selling it from their vans. LOL

  • Your tube amp is similar to my zenith, it does have power input and speaker output transformers.
Mt tube/chip amp is awaiting a transformer. I will be ordering a bunch with mouser including the caps and X-frmrs for the tube amps, caps for the fisher amp and maybe some for the 440 yammie (which is really holding up the train @ this point) when I find the bad ones. Maybe I should just scrap that, it also needs a chip. Though I should find that chip quite easy in another amp.

  • Paul I thought your message to me said "No transformers" ... anyway, the ones I have has these dinky output X fmrs, no input ones, but when I am done with it, it will have more transformers than Megan Fox.

    Cool.
    Srinath.
