We're pretty darn excited to have Giovanni Difeterici come out and speak to us again. If you missed him the last time you missed out. He's a fantastic speaker and full of amazing design knowledge.
He's been doing a lot of research on cognition and behavior as it pertains to design and user experience. There's a lot to cover but he'll be focusing on aesthetics, desire, intuitiveness, affordance, focus, and complexity.

i'm familiar w/the music factory, but not sure where Suite C7 is. can someone please post some general direction on where the actual meeting location is? thanks!

Enter through Osso's entrance from the courtyard, take a right after the second set of doors and we are at the end of the hall. There should also be signs up for you to follow, I'll try to make sure they are up.

@rach - If you're headed down nC Music Factory blvd from Graham, the entrance is to the right of Bask (baskonseaboard.com)
Head in through the double doors and make a right and walk all the way down the hallway. You'll dead end into MyJive (suite C7)

Missy RoseThis was my first meetup and I will definitely come back. There was enough food for thought to pursue some of the subject matter on my own. Nice that he combined art with UI but then again, I have an art background.
